The purpose of this policy is to establish clear operational guidelines for the DT Discord server's morning wakeup announcement roster. This ensures consistent daily engagement while maintaining fairness, accountability, and seamless backup procedures among all DACT administrators.
Roster Release: The monthly wakeup schedule must be generated and published (by Callin) on admin.dact.fyi at least 1-2 days prior to the start of the new month.
Duty Timeframe: The assigned admin is responsible for delivering the wakeup announcement within the designated morning window set by the server guidelines (7:00 a.m.)
System Tracking: All duties, confirmations, and swaps must be communicated through the admin discord channel. Verbal agreements in chat must be updated and reflected on THIS ADMIN PANEL.
Reminders: Admins will receive reminder pings via a discord ping the evening prior to their shift and 30 minutes prior to the scheduled wakeup time.
Shift Confirmation: Upon posting the announcement, the assigned admin must click the "Mark Complete" button (or the equivalent) on the admin dashboard to log their fulfillment of the duty. (COMING SOON)
If an admin is unable to fulfill their scheduled wakeup duty due to illness, schedule conflicts, or emergencies, they must adhere to the following steps:
If an emergency arises overnight or close to shift time, notify the admin team immediately in the private staff channel.
Use the emergency Discord notification (/@username WAKE-UP SWAP) or have a peer manually reassign the shift on the admin portal.
The Weekly Backup: Every month, a designated backup admin is assigned to absorb unfulfilled shifts. If a primary admin fails to post and has not arranged coverage, the daily backup admin is automatically on-call to step in.
Failing to complete a scheduled wakeup announcement without arranging coverage or notifying the team results in a missed shift strike.
Accumulating 3 consecutive or unexcused missed shifts will trigger a temporary review of admin status...
